Of course our flag is flying! It's Presidents' Day.
Our bud, Lt. Col Dan Flak (USAF-ret) stood up for the Air Force song. And did that on a knee that is less than 6 weeks old! He might have been one of the younger veterans there. Dan came to the Vietnam War a youngster and among other SAR work, he flew the Saigon Evac. But that's another story.
Lots of veterans there - the army stood up for their song! It was great seeing Mayor Keith Holliday standing outside afterward, making sure everyone got out all right (it was snowing).
Gets you 40 years! At least that's what Dan said, but Maureen just smiled.
In The Mood halftime
Had the greatest lunch with Adrienne and Kristen. Mexican, diet trials and Diet Coke. I love my gal friends!
